Specifications

We will combine lectures and practical exercises. The course will end up in an exterior colour design proposal for each participant. We will start up with some inspirational ideas and examples from urban colour planning.

NCS will be used as a method for colour analysis in urban planning. What is the existing typical colour range of an area? How can you visualise a typical colour range? Which nuances and hues are the most common? Which colour dominates? Which colours serves as markers or exclamation marks? Which breaks out of an otherwise coherent pattern? How can you find the soul of the place/area? Which colour scales are suitable in exterior colour planning?

You will do your own colour palette for exterior colour design. How will the colour change from the small sample to the ready maid facade?
